Joseph A. Kaczka was named Chief Financial Officer in September 2006. He joined Republic Engineered Products Inc. as Vice President, Finance in December 2003. He served in the same capacity with Republic's predecessor companies since 1999, having added treasury responsibilities to his duties in February 2003.

Kaczka was employed for more than 30 years with USS/KOBE Steel Company and its predecessor companies, where he most recently served as treasurer and controller. He was responsible for banking relationships and administration, debt negotiation and compliance, risk management, pension plans and accounting.

From 1995 through 1997, Kaczka was treasurer, and from 1989 through 1995 he served as controller, for USS/KOBE. Prior to that, he held various financial positions at USX locations in Pennsylvania, Alabama and Ohio. His responsibilities included payroll, billing and invoicing, inventory control, accounts payable, stores management, cost analysis and financial forecasting.

Kaczka holds a bachelor of arts degree and a masters in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
